Born in the nature-rich region of Yamashina, Kyoto, Minako grew up as an adventurous only child, always running through the hills and fields.
At the age of 14, she lost her beloved father to a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The shock of this loss led her to label herself as a "worthless person" for not being able to save him.
Minako gave up her dream of becoming a nurse, and after graduating high school, she spent her nights in the neon-lit streets. One day, she realized, "This isn't me!" Determined to change, she joined a sports club, participating in aerobics competitions, marathons, and bicycle races, striving for mental and physical purification.
While working as an aerobics instructor, her "worthless person" label resurfaced. This led her to embark on a journey to find her true self.
During a backpacking trip in New Zealand, she unexpectedly discovered she was pregnant and decided, after much inner conflict, to give the child up for adoption. This experience made her realize the wonder of femininity and the preciousness of life, while also feeling a strong sense of guilt.
She then resumed her quest for self-discovery, traveling to Hawaii, the United States, Canada, Malaysia, Africa, Jamaica, and Mexico. Once again, during her journey, she discovered she was pregnant!
After returning to Canada, Minako got married and had two children, but her marriage didn't work out, leaving her exhausted. She decided to become a single mother, leaving with her 1-year-9-month-old son and 7-month-old daughter, and sought refuge in a Japanese church. While receiving social assistance, she began studying to become a caregiver. However, loneliness, fatigue, and karma with her mother resurfaced, affecting her mentally and physically. In the midst of this suffering, she discovered Jikiden Reiki.
As she continued practicing Reiki, her son's atopic dermatitis improved significantly, and she could cook delicious meals. Moreover, her surroundings changed remarkably, and since then, she hasn't caught a cold.
As a caregiver, she has provided Reiki to about 290 people (as of March 2023), including cancer and dementia patients and those receiving palliative care. She has had the opportunity to apply Reiki to clients with various ailments and has witnessed their transformations firsthand, reinforcing her belief in the power of Reiki.
In addition, she encountered Isiris 33 Method®︎, which rewrites and repairs the subconscious, and Brain Yoga, which promotes the circulation of body, mind, and brain, further enhancing the post-session transformations.
Minako offers sessions that harmonize the mind, body, and soul by listening to the voices of each client's body and mind and combining Reiki, Isiris, and Brain Yoga as needed.
In 2021, she had an emotional reunion with her first daughter, Ai, whom she had given up for adoption.
Currently, she is preparing for a new adventure, delivering music therapy and energy healing while traveling in a bus with her twin flame partner, a musician.
